It should be pretty much expected that my life of blogging has dwindled. I’M A MOMMY! That translates to not having much time to do anything but attend to my little muffin!
As difficult as it has been, it has been joyous. It has been such a humbling and learning experience for ME these past 9 months! That’s right Kenzie will (officially) turn 9 months tomorrow. It seems like it was only yesterday that I spent 3 hours pushing her out. She has grown steadily from being 8lbs to now 17lbs. Her head is still big and she is as silly as ever. She also has her 2 bottom teeth and a top one coming in. (Sadly, we didn’t recognize her unusual moodiness and weird sleep patterns meaning her top tooth was coming in) Oh, and most importantly, she’s (mostly)sleeping through the night!! Boy, have I learned to run on E but thank God for refreshing me!
I have enjoyed being a mother and sooooo desperately REALLY want 5 kids now… Just gotta work on convincing the hubbs!!
Parenting is sweet to me. I love feeding my baby, I love playing with her, singing to her, watching her eat and explore the world through scooting around! I love teaching her sign language and I am convinced she signed “milk”. Bets of all I LOVE being a stay at home mom. It is hands down THE BEST job of all time. It’s comforting and worth every sacrifice my husband and I are making.
I know we’re in a touch spot financially because I left my job, I know we aren’t able to do as much as we want and bills continue to pile up, but my goodness I AM loving my life, my career and my family. I couldn’t ask for things to be any better (of course financially, but you know what I mean!)
The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with JOY!
Psalm 126:3
