I know it’s been quite awhile since I’ve last blogged but no one told me how busy we’d be after buying a house. That’s right, we are official HOME OWNERS! Our closing went pretty smooth. We didn’t feel like we were signing too many papers. We were also able to purchase the big items we needed for our home.
Moving in was busy! We didn’t realize we has so much stuff in our apartment. So glad that’s over! We also had a House Blessing performed by Pastor Joe! (Something I recommend any believer doing before they sleep one night in a new home.) So now we are pretty much settled in. We were so settled in we hosted our first Christmas dinner!

It was a great day. I invited everyone to come over early so everyone can help with preparing the meal. It wasn’t the worst idea and the food ended up tasting great. Kenny and I also baked our first turkey (after a major catastrophe with the turkey fryer). I am soo thankful for my godmother and her simple instructions over the phone. The turkey was juicy and it’s something i will definitely do again.
So, again, I am sorry for the the delay in posting but being a home owner keeps us busy!
