One Day Away

We are one day away from closing on our new home. We've both been rather crazy today with phone calls and emails tying up loose ends. We've been making calls to ensure our cable will be installed, to get the confirmation for the Uhaul truck, and locking in on deals with homeowners insurance. Actually as I'm typing this post,I'm on the phone with an insurance agent. He was able to give us a great deal on homeowners and car insurance.

I have to admit, I'm a little nervous. We are about to take on a great task. About to incur A LOT of debt (good debt as they call it), and have a range of house projects to tackle.

But over all, we are excited. This situation is such a testament to God's faithfulness. We have covered this situation in prayer and remained faithful to the Lord through a rather difficult time.
So, although a little nervous, my heart is filled with thanks because we are literally a day away from closing on our first home. Thank You Lord for answering our prayers.
