I know this blog is overdue but better late than never. Needless to say, i am backed up with blogging because I’m just busy. Not quite sure “what” I’m doing with my time but i know i don’t spend much if it in front of the computer.
Anyway, for the New Year we decided to host our housewarming. It turned out…okay. A little more people (or children shall i say) than we expected. But we were glad people chose to come and bless us with gifts to fill our home. All in all, we had a great time and Ray was with us which is the best housewarming present ever! (By the way, the story of him coming to stay with us that weekend is such a miracle. it’s something I simply can’t blog about because I can’t type the words that would express how my heart feels. So if you want that story, we actually have to talk. For now, I’ll say God is at work!)
So here are some pics that were taken that day. And as you will see everyone enjoyed themselves.

Now on to more serious issues- When it was all over here were the damages we reported:
-Multiple stains on the carpet throughout the house
- Apple pieces found on the floor throughout the house. (Once I noticed the kids were taking food upstairs, I stopped them immediately, but it was already too late)
-I discovered our picnic set was broken into, mind you it has real silverware in it.
-The doors in the middle bedroom were broken. I guess that happened during multiple games of hide and seek.
-Pieces of food were all over the place.
These findings were soo overwhelming that we literally left them alone and just went to bed and PRAYED no animals would dine that night. We were ever so grateful for gift cards to Target and Home Depot because they allowed us to buy a vacuum cleaner and rent a steamer to get our home back to it’s normal state.
So glad our home is back!
Gotta love friends and family!
