What a joy devine!
A few Sundays ago we visited a church not too far from our home. I came across the church because I was driving in the area and decided to check out their website. What I found as I read their entire website was that they were literally a bible-believeing, bible-teaching church (a rare find these days).
So, as I was pleased with everything I read, I naturally wanted us to visit. But first, I attended a women's bible study. (Another great feature they have on their website is their weekly bulletine, a great resource to church happenings). It was right on time because I was in search of a bible study. I sent an email to the person leading the group and she responded back welcoming me to their church. And I went! Again hte women were very welcoming and open to me just checking them out but God revealed some awesome things to me through that studay and I've been attending since then. I've also joined in their womens's aerobics class which meets twice a week. I'm getting fit dancing to gospel music, and I know most of the songs!
On to Sunday service...
We went to the 11am service and initially we were the only darker skinned Christians. But not a big deal. We expected that. The music reminded us of being on missions trips. No clapping, and definitely not the usual Baptist church songs. But the words were full of love for the Lord. The sermon was on-point, but there wasn't any talking back to the Pastor. Announcements were usual, offering was fast and believe it or not we were out by 12:30PM.
What a fellowship!
What's most intriguing is that Kenny enjoyed service as yes, Mr. and Mrs. Davis plan to attend Grace Chapel again!
Man, they are great people!

TOO COOL!
We visited Antioch Fellowship on Sunday and loved it.
Mixed with all kinds of people from everywhere (which I prefer) Great Children's ministry for the short one, and we were in at 9 and out by 10:30ish.
LOL! Gotta love church that doesn't take all day. Makes me wonder why some churches "DO" take all day...
