I finished!!!!

Finally, finally, finally, I have completed that Bachelor degree. Thinking about it can make me depressed or grateful and I choose to be GRATEFUL!

I graduated High School exactly 10 years ago. For WHATEVER reason it took that long to complete a degree that normally takes 4 years. When I think about the road blocks and detours that came my way, they came from various angles. Some were due to immaturity, indecisiveness and schizophrenic decisions. Others were due to me not being obedient to the voice of the Lord, and plain old God just causing things to work the way he wanted them to.

So, I’m not going to dare use my energy and feel defeated about this accomplishment. (The devil always finds a way to linger and turn the good into bad!) Rather I will rejoice in the work He has completed in me! I enjoyed my studies at American Public University. I am forever grateful to Nia for finding the school for me (so easily might I add) during a very discouraging time in my life. I am grateful for my instructors that didn’t bother to make the work easier for me because I worked full time and went to school full time. Instead, they challenged me in ways, I haven’t been challenged before. And I promise I am forever grateful that I DO NOT have to worry about writing a paper with a minimum of 15 pages! School was great but I am glad it is over.

*And it helps that I graduated with Honors – GPA 3.8229!!!
