I'm taking a Spanish class this semester (and next). I've really enjoyed learning the language and it doesn't hurt to have another language under my belt. So to make it real I applied to attend a spring break trip to Merida, Yucatan, Mexico through the college. I received the call today that my application was approved!! I'm on my way to Mexico! WOOO!!! HOOO!!!!
I am too excited! Can't wait till my trip!
It's an educational experience so everyday is pretty much planned out. We'll be staying at the Hotel San Juan.
We'll visit Uxmal and see (and climb!) such wonders as the Pyramid of the Magician and the Great Pyramid, visit several Art Museums within the town square of Merida, Tour of Dzibilchaltún Museum, Mayan site (including the Temple of the Seven Dolls) and famed cenote,walk to one of several markets in Merida , and soo much more.
I am ready. I have two 2GB memory cards for my camera. I'm gonna charge up my batteries, and Merida, Mexico HERE I COME!!!
