Those were the words spoken to me a little over a week ago as I sat in Ray's new house. The "girlfriend" said that's what the social workers suggested. It's supposed to be done to give Ray the time to adjust to his new living situation and decrease his confusion from calling everyone mom and dad. By the way, bio dada was nowhere in sight (as usual).
The way she said it, with a slight smirk, gave me the impression that she was quite happy to say that. Not to mention she's trying to get bio mom out of the picture because she doesn't want to deal with her. That's what happens when you take in your boyfriends's kids!
Needless to say that information is hurtful. We've only raised the child for the past two years and we've actually been the ones caring for him when neither parent was around and we still cared for him full time when parents attempted to come around. So, how anyone gets to guts to say we should stay away.... let's just say my thoughts aren't the best towards them right now.
On top of that, we needed to talk with bio dad to give him some info on Ray's childcare funds, but since HE never called back the case was closed and CCIS will no longer pay for Ray's childcare. They probably found out one day when they went to drop him off at school, but oh well! Not my problem! YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME BACK!!
Gon' try and keep the child we cared for away from us. You must be stupid!

:( How silly of her...That only will do harm to Ray in the long run.
Wow!... That's a real special group of folks you're dealing with there Tynisha... I will keep yu all in my Prayers - especially Ray, since he's in the middle of allof this drama (not saying that yall are adding to it)... I thought that it took a village???
It is our prayer that Ray does not suffer through all of this, and we want to believe "someday" we will gain admission back into "the village" (with the child we raised...)
God is in control.....always
