This past year or two has been CRAZY! God has erupted so many feelings and desires and experiences in us, when I think about it, it seems overwhelming. But I've made a decision. I guess it's kind of my New Year's Resolution - I don't know. But here it is:
Last year, I spent much time in prayer and reading God's word because I really want to discover what God wants me to do with my life. I'm 25, I'm married, and care for a 1 year old. That's nice and fun, but, I want more for myself. I want to fulfill my dreams.
During my time with God, He revealed to me what He wants me to do and 2009 is the year to begin the work.
I've been working as the Breast Cancer Awareness Coordinator at my job and it's been fun, but it's time to take it to the next level.
I plan to get back into my Nursing curriculum. Ray or no Ray, I'm going back to school. I then plan to enroll in a Masters Program and work towards a degree to become a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner/Midwife. University of Penn has the program I want to enroll in and it should take about 1-2 years. Sounds like a lot but I want to do exactly what I'm doing now (with the addition of delivery babies at a Birthing Center), but get paid three times as much. That's what I believe God has called me to do and has used my current position to help me realize that.
WOW GOD! You are amazing!
I'm on my way to becoming what God wants me to be. Pray, because I'm going to drive Kenny crazy and this is going to cost $$$

It's it great to sit still and listen to what God has to say to us.

Hey Ty,
Press on my dear! When God calls you and you follow.. the doors will open far than you can imagine. You know my Nursing journey. The enemy has thrown many road blocks in my path, but because I relied on God....well shall i say 2009 (BSN) is my last year....and even then it's not the
end...God says ...it's the beginning. Keep focused...stay centered in Jesus and He'll continue to direct your path.
