I went to service with my mother - nice and a little long.
Got home around 1:30am and attempted to watch a movie.
Ray woke up crying about every 2 hours for who knows what.
That morning, once I woke up, around 10, I decided to take Ray to the hospital. Something had to be wrong with him, he's not sleeping so I thought maybe he had an ear infection.
We go to St. Christopher's hospital. The triage nurse tells me he may have ringworms as well because his bald spot is growing and there was a suspicious bump. Afterwards, we sit in the waiting area for about 2 hours.
Once called to the back we sit in a waiting room for 2 1/2 hours.
- FRUSTRATION SETS IN-
A doctor finally comes in to look at Ray - No ear infection - No ringworms, but we have to wait for her boss to come and look at him to confirm.
We wait another half hour. Another doctor comes in to confirm - No ear infection - No ringworms. If anything he has a cold and his bald spot is ok. All we need to do is watch it over the next few weeks. THANKS A LOT! He tells us we only need to wait about 2 more minutes for someone to come in to bring me papers to sign.
I wait another 20 or so minutes and finally flag someone down asking for these papers!
I sign the stupid papers that says Ray just has a cold.
THANKS AGAIN!
Thanks St. Chris for wasting my New Years's Day!
Thanks Ray for not letting us get any sleep for the past few nights, making us think you were sick.
But we thank God for giving us a little common sense to check things out when we aren't sure!
New Year's was interesting but after all that, we went over a friends house and had great food and fellowship!
WHAT A LIFE!!!!

Oh, I posted a comment on this yesterday - I'll try to remember what I wrote.
I learned that Chris was no "Saint" at all a long time ago!! Your year can only get better from here!!
Davis Family,
While you may not have been where you would like to have been, you were safe in God's arms exactly where he wanted you...
I remember when Zoe was younger we were ALWAYS in St. Chris'. If it wasn't her allergies, it was her asthma, or some strage rash or a weird cough HELP ME LORD!!
We spent so many holidays in that ER waiting room... Christmas, 4th of July, Easter, Mother's Day, but in the end we were always safe.. God has a funny way of bringing families together and getting them to sloooow down..even for a little while :)
