Ray is home today (and was home yesterday) because he has the oozy snot looking drainage from his eyes. Sorry to disgust you but imagine how we feel seeing it and having to clen it up!
It started Tuesday morning. When he woke up his eyes were slight red, but it went away by the time we got ready to leave the house. I didn't think much of it.
When I picked him up from school his face just looked different. A little swollen, but again didn't think much of it. He didn't seem to be bothered. Then that night. he didn't sleep well and when i went to go check on him, his eyes could barely open because of the pus. EWWW!!! WE could not let him go to school like that so Kenny took him to the doctor and it was confirmed PINK EYE! He's never had that before and it was gross!
So he's home today. There isn't much ooz coming out now. He's had some eye drops and his face looks soo much better.
And by the way, while doing the exam yesterday the doctor discovered...
HE HAS AN EAR INFECTION - AGAIN!!!
YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!
