We are often given a verbal report of Ray's behavior when we pick him up from school. The reports are fairly consistant; not listening to his teachers, hitting others, not focusing, etc. They claim to redirect him a gazillion times and tell us to encourage Ray to listen to his teachers.
Well, when I picked him up yesterday, he had a written note. It reminds me of the warning forms that got sent home before a child was to be suspended from school...
Here it is:
Explanation: The children were in the bathroom, both Rayon and another child were standing by the door to leave. Rayon pushed the other child and was told to stop. The other child hit him in the face with his hand. As a result, Rayon has a bruise under his right eye.
Child's Reaction: Rayon began to cry and said his face hurt. I picked him up and he stopped crying and stated that he wanted to get down. He no longer complained about it after the incident occurred.
I have no idea what to make of this besides "Dude is off da hook!"
