Is He SERIOUS???????

As most know, Kenny and I are in search of our first home. We PRAY to get in by Dec. 1st and PRAYERFULLY with that tax credit for first time home buyers, pay off some things! It will definitely set us free financially, if you know what I mean.

Well, while discussing that this evening, Kenny kindly suggests he wants to start the baby making process the day we get approved for a house…… (He’s said this to me before but I kindly ignored him). And here he is saying it again, and he means it! He says he wants to start having kids before he’s too old…30. (He’s 2 years away from that.) Then, he goes on to further think about which month he wants to conceive because he doesn’t want a winter baby, doesn’t want to drive in the snow. So, now he’s thinking too much.

(If you are wondering about my facial expressions during this conversation, my mouth was darn near on the floor, and my face was filled with confusion and uncertainty).

You see, I have a non-hormonal IUD that is effective for up to 10 years. We have only completed 1 year (and it’s been going great!)

I don’t know what to make of his rather serious “thoughts”. He sounds pretty convinced and I’m not sure if I’m as convinced as he is.

I do want to go back to school, but I have also always expressed interest in wanting to be a stay at home mom.

I want children but always thought that 35 was a good age to start having them.

I want to attempt the whole pregnancy thing again, but I’m scared.

Here goes this whole “trust God” thing again…

I just told Kenny he needs to go PRAY!

Ok first of all...he thinks 30 is too old to have kids?? I feel some type of way about that! Second of all, birth control is not in the Bible so I suggest you get rid of it and start being fruitful and multiply. Third of all, Gods ways are not our ways...He will break up our plans/will...you should know that Mrs Note Taker. Just becuase you wanted to start having kids at 35 and go back to school does not mean that's God's will Missy!

I think you guys need to have more talks and weigh your pros and cons before you make a final decision. Tell that may 30 is NOT too old (being that close myself)!
