As Ray and I were getting ready this morning, I was dreading our commute. It's raining hard and it's dark. Ray loves to splah and although he has rain boots I do not so he ends up getting my pants wet. Then there's the whole issue with my hair.
Just as we were heading out the door, the phone rangs. It's Kenny. He asks if I want him to drive us because it's raining pretty bad. "YES!", I yell, and Ray and I head downstairs where my knight in shinning armor is waiting in the lobby to escort us to the car. We drop Ray off at school, he drops me off at work. And I didn't get wet.
I have a good husband!
