Today was the day we signed papers to submit an offer on our prospective home. We viewed the home last Thursday and Kenny immediately fell in love with it. I needed more convincing because it only had one bathroom. But after debating and comparing what the house offers to what what we asked God for, we decided it was a good idea to make an offer.
What I never realized was there is soo much preparation before submitting the offer. (mind you we made the decision to submit the offer last Friday and here it is darn near a week later and we just signed the papers!) I feel so deceived by shows such as "House Hunters" and My First Place" (although I still want to get on the show). They make the process look so smooth and easy. HA!
So now we wait, until Monday, to see if our offer will be accepted. Our prayer is that our offer will be accepted and everything there after will fall into place.
Here are a few pics I took of the house. PRAY FOR US!
The fireplace
Kitchen with stainless steel appliances
View from the dining room into the living room
The beautiful, large backyard for Mikki
A built in curio cabinet in the kitchen, also slight view of the door to the pantry.

Uhhh, the shows are nothing like the real thing...remember it's a show and it's edited. It takes a long time to actually get to settlement and there are a lot of setbacks. Make sure your bank accounts are straight, no large sums of money coming in and going out without explanation. They are a pain in the butt but after the process the home is a blessing. Hang in there, this is just the beginning.

Thanks a bunch! We will remember that advice.
Wow, Tynisha!
What a blessing.
Good Luck. I'm very happy for you all.
