We just recived email from my director:
Dear Staff,
It is regret that write to inform you that you will not receive your regular paycheck today. However, all of the news is not bad. We are working with the City to ascertain when the money will be available. Therefore, we are working on two scenarios:
A) If the City informs us today that we will receive our money either by Thursday or Friday, then we will issue a regular payroll on that day.
B) If we cannot be assured that we will receive the payroll money this week, than we will give everyone a check for a predetermined amount of money today to help tide you over.
I will update you in the next couple of hours. Thank you for your patience.
When darts are thrown our way we can either let them hit us and destroy us, or block them so they don't do any damage. I will choose to use my shield of faith, with which can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Throughout all this budget crap we really have to focus on the Lord and His faithfulness. If His word says the righteous have never been forsaken or their childen begging bread, the nit shall be so!
God is fully aware of what's going on and I KNOW He is and will always be in control.
I will continue to keep this situation in prayer and ask God for wisdom and patience for myself and my coworkers.
