ALOT!
First, we had an inspection last week. Over all it went okay, but there are a few items that need attention:
- Hot water heater is leaking
- MOLD! (Not gonna work in it AND come home to it!)
- Electrical outlets need fixing so we don't blow up!
We also had radon (a cancer-causing natural radioactive gas that you can’t see, smell or taste) levels tested. With radon testing you must keep all windows closed and it must be kept in place. )Inspectors put it in a certain area in the basement a certain distance away from windows to be able to get the most accurate reading.) Well, our sellers did not keep the windows closed and they told the inspector they moved it, plus they didn't sign the papers (they ended up in the trash) AND they claim we left their house a mess! NEGATIVE!
By the way, they just alerted us that they can't sale their house until they buy another one. That's messing up with our deadline!
Next, Ray's father came to pick him up Saturday. It was a very sad moment. Enough said about that...
And lastly my brother. He needs Jesus! After talking with him. we discover he is a father to be. His girlfriend who is in her last year of high school is a few weeks pregnant and he seems to think he's going away to college - to live on campus. With Ray's situation dangling over my head, I stressed how important it is to be there for the pregnant girl as well as the child. Physically there, not just saying your going to buy something.Don't know what's going to happen with them. All I know is, instead of trying to go away to college to play basketball, he needs to get a job so he can stack up on diapers. Tynisha is not doing baby showers for these young ungrateful people anymore. I got burned once, not gonna let that happen again!
And that's the latest of what's been going on.
