It was ordered by the court for Ray to leave last Tuesday. They told us he would be officially discharged from our house Wednesday night. It is now Thursday and Ray is still in our care. (Not really mad at that though!)
We tried calling the Social Workers Tuesday afternoon to find out what time they would arrive to get Ray. After a few unresponsive phone calls and after leaving a few messages, during our last attempt to call we finally spoke with someone. We were told he can't leave our home until everyone signs discharge papers. Everyone includes, all social workers; DHS and the agency, the child advocate, attorneys and bio mom and dad (I believe). So he is to remain in our care until that happens because the DHS worker has been out sick all week.
If we had not called we probably would not have found out.
