No sooner as I posted the previous post did I receive this email from our mortgage consultant:
PHFA announced via email that they are no longer accepting applications for the tax credit advance. Fortunately, I reserved your funds some time ago so you are safe.
I literally stopped breathing until I read the second sentence. You see, we are able to use a portion of the first time hope buyers tax credit for down payment assistance, which we NEED!
WOW! Thank you Lord for sparing us! God is really up to something...
